Moser String Quartet has been awarded the "Duranton Consultants Association" Prize in the FNAPEC Competition. The international competition took place on 16th April in the beautiful Landowsky Auditorium, in Paris. This was the 38th edition of the renowned European Chamber Music Competition in France.

The Moser Quartet is excited to announce that they are now part of the prestigious École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot, as part of the Elite Program.

Joining this renowned institution opens the door to working closely with Quatuor Modigliani and taking part in inspiring musical concerts. This new chapter allows the Moser Quartet to continue growing artistically while being part of the vibrant cultural life at one of the world’s most respected music schools.

Moser String Quartet starts a new chapter and introduces a new member in the quartet: Élise Hiron! 

After a very challenging year for the four previous members, the quartet says goodbye to Ariadna Bataller, with sincere and deep gratitude after four incredible years of work together.

Moser String Quartet wants to thank as well the amazing different violists who stepped in to perform with them over the past months: Yunan Chen, Ángela Medina, Pietro Montemagni, Ilya Belly, Jorge Gallardo, Bernat Santacana and Fiachra de hOra.

Moser String Quartet has been selected for AIE - Clásicos en Ruta 2024. This program will lead the quartet to many festivals in Spain, from July to November.

These festivals include some such as Clásicos en el Parque (Rodalquilar), Música No Claustro (Tui), Infantes Música (Villanueva de los Infantes), FIAMPSE Festival & Promenade (Vélez de Benaudalla) and more!

On the occasion of the opening concert of the Orangerie Sonore Festival, the artists of ProQuartet, accompanied on the santûr by Farnaz Modarresifar, will perform Ludion by Aurélien Dumont, commissioned by the Maison de la Musique Contemporaine as part of the Grand Prix Lycéen des Compositeurs 2023.

Moser String Quartet will participate in the 13th edition of Premio Paolo Borciani. 

The competition will take place next June, in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

After the concert in Joaquín Rodrigo Hall, in Palau de la Música of Valencia, on 16th January.

The Osaka International Chamber Music Competition & Festa has been held every three years since 1993 with the aim of promoting chamber music in Japan and recognising young performers who are enthusiastic about chamber music. In 1997, the competition became a member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions and is run according to international standards. Today it is regarded as one of the world's seven major chamber music competitions and is a target for young musicians who aspire to become world-class performers.

Moser String Quartet has received the 3rd Prize in Concours Nicati 2023, the competition which supports contemporary music in Switzerland.

The repertoire chosen for the occasion was Boids Again (by japanese composer Misato Mochizuki), Distanzenquartett No.2 (by swiss composer Dieter Ammann) and Papa Haydn's Parrot (by also swiss composer Helena Winkelman).

Moser String Quartet will be Ensemble in Residence at ProQuartet Centre Européen de Musique de Chambre for the up-coming season 2023-2024.

Moser String Quartet has received the Marianne und Curt Dienemann Stiftung 2023. The selection process took place last June in the Hochschule für Musik Luzern.

The Concours de Genève has announced the candidates for this year’s Competition. Fifteen String Quartets have been selected for the 77th Concours de Genève! The Competition is presenting Flute & String Quartet and will take place from 23 October - 4 November 2023 in Geneva, Switzerland.

Moser String Quartet receives the Special Award "Ambassador Ensemble" of the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition & Festa 2023.

Moser String Quartet has been selected as one of the ten string quartets that will perform in Sumitomolife Izumi Hall (Osaka, Japan). The Competition will take place on 12th May.

The Artistic Committee of MERITA has analyzed more than 60 applications received by musicians from 27 different countries and selected 38 string quartets who will take part in MERITA's activities!

Moser String Quartet has been one of the four selected groups for the next edition of ICMF Fundación MonteLeón. The Festival will take place on December 5th to 9th 2022, in León (Spain).

SOLD OUT! Collaboration with clarinetist Pablo Barragán, taking part in Trame Sonore Festival, in Mantua (Italy). The concert will take place on 3rd June, in Palazzo d'Arco at 18.00h.

Moser String Quartet will have its debut in Stadtcasino Basel, as part of Dieter Ammann's 60th anniversary (60 Jahre im Groove).

Verena Weinmann will compose a piece for the four string players of the Moser String Quartet. The piece will be premiered at the Swiss Chamber Music Festival in Adelboden in September 2022.
